Based on the academic\nstandard and the translator’s subjectivity, the translator focuses on constructing Song\nJiang’s “righteousness” in the main-text and para-text, and applies this image of Song\nJiang to his own historical novels. Thus, the image of Song Jiang is shaped by\ntranslators, interpreted by readers and reborn in Japan, which further reconstructs the\ncharacter image of Song Jiang who is chivalrous and righteous and solidifies this\ncharacter image in Japan.
