| 内容記述 | This paper reconsiders Roger Hart’s theory of “The Ladder of Participation” from the Perspective of “Agency,” which is emphasized in the OECD’s Education 2030 project. The eight-step framework presented by the participation ladder is an effective tool visualize the extent to which children and young people can be involved in and responsible for decision-making in their own learning and interaction with society. On the other hand, the OECD’s Agency is defined as the ability to use knowledge skills, values, and attitudes in an integrated manner as the power necessary to create the future. In this paper, we will clar ify the points of contact between the two and discuss how children’s independence can be fostered in educational practice. |
