With support of farmers, Miyayasu machi, Hakusan\ncity, Ishikawa, Japan, the authors have observed farmland using an UAV\n(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) equipped with a multispectral camera since 2024. The\nauthors got permission to let an UAV fly over 2 sets of farm fields. The size of\neach farmland is 100 meters by 40 meters. A multispectral camera can shoot Red,\nGreen, Blue, NIR (Near Infrared) band independently. NDVI is calculated by using\nRed and NIR based on the formula (NIR-Red)/(NIR+Red). In 2024, among 2sets of\nfarm fields, one is rice and the other is soy.
