HbA1c as a measurement target is defined as β1-fructosyl hemoglobin. The\nmethod of measuring HbA1c was mainly HPLC method. Recently, other methods such\nas immunoturbidimetric and enzymatic methods have been developed. Other than\nHPLC method, use a centrifuged blood cell layer as the measurement sample. At that\ntime, it is pointed out that the specific gravity difference of the blood cell layer is\ngenerated by the centrifugation operation, and the HbA1c value is different. The\nauthors examined whether it could be reproduced using two reagents of the enzymatic\nmethod. Furthermore, it was investigated to what extent hemolysis had an effect.\nAs a result of the examination, there was no difference in blood cell layer depending\non the used reagent. Similarly, there was no effect of hemolysis.
