The manuscript, entitled “Tateyama engi” (Tateyama foundation legend), was copied in 1630.This article first transcribes the newly discovered manuscript and then compares it to those extant recensions of “Tateyama kaisan engi” that bear a clear date or for which we can estimate the dating.Thus four “Tateyama engi” are compared: the 1630 copy manuscript in the Fukue collection, a mid-Edo-period manuscript in the possession of Zentoku zakki, a 1779 copy manuscript in the Nikkō-bō collection, and an 1853 copy manuscript in the Enmei-in collection.A detailed comparison of word similarity among these four works reveals a match of around 80 percent. We can therefore conclude that the content of “Tateyama engi” was already established by the Sengoku period, that it barely changed since that time, and that there was content continuity through the Bakumatsu years at the end of the Edo period.}, pages = {51--86}, title = {寛永7年(1630)の「立山縁起」-史料紹介・分析・評価-}, year = {2021}, yomi = {フクエ, ミツル} }
