Thus, this study aims to develop and implement new teaching materials \nin the field of data science education, which are dedicated to teaching students about \nartificial intelligence (AI). The materials address the following aspects of AI: discussing \nAI in business, the mechanism of machine learning, pre-processing, and visualization \nnecessary for data analysis. To understand their effectiveness, we used materials for \nundergraduate students at the economics and management department, Hokuriku \nUniversity. Moreover, we measured the degrees of interest in and understanding of AI \nof the students using questionnaires. The main finding is that students are more \ninterested in learning about AI after using the materials.
