The two hypotheses were that tho se with \na high sense of 'Ibasho' at university would have a high subjective well-being and \nadjustment (Hypothesis 1), and those with a low sense of 'Ibasho' at university but a \nhigh sense of 'Ibasho' at high school would have a high subjective well-being and \nadjustment (Hypothesis 2). Hypothesis 1 was supported, while Hypothesis 2 was only \npartially supported.
