内容記述 | Rousseau emphasized the need for education according to the developmental stage of the child. At that time, France considered small adults to be children, and tried to treat them the same as adults. Emphasis was placed on the development of children's senses that begin with pleasure and discomfort through negative education centered on nature in order to nurture "natural people." The school-age period for entering elementary schools in Japan was divided into early and late childhood, and emphasis was placed on fostering people who live for themselves. This means that in moral education that fosters morality, it is important to teach about moral values related to oneself centered on viewpoint A of the content item. In addition, in the middle volume of "Emile", he preaches the education of adolescence and adolescence, which corresponds to the period corresponding to high school. Little by little, the vector will change in the direction of fostering "working people" who cultivate a spirit of compassion and empathy for others. In other words, in moral education, the emphasis shifts to Perspective B (Relationships with Others) and Perspective C (Relationships with Groups and Society). In Émile, Rousseau fully examines the development of the mind as well as the developmental stages of children in order to raise "working adults." The view of education that shifts from the education of natural people to the education of working adults and fosters citizenship as citizens who will lead a democratic society is consistent with the flow of the moral content items indicated in the course of Study. Building on Rousseau's ideas, which became a major ideological foundation for building a democratic society, will be an important perspective in education for the continuation of stable democracy in Japan in the future. |
