内容記述 | Background: The introduction of the Licensed Psychologist qualification in Japan has led to an increase in universities offering relevant programs. One of the required courses, ‘Practical Training in Psychology’ involves role-playing simulated psychological interviews, which traditionally rely on students’ experiences, potentially causing emotional distress and limiting case diversity. Objective: To address these challenges, this study explores the use of generative AI to create diverse simulated cases, thus enhancing the educational experience without compromising students’ emotional well-being. Methods: The paper discusses the application of AI tools like Microsoft Copilot in generating cases for university-level ‘Practical Training in Psychology.’ It evaluates the effectiveness of these tools in creating realistic and varied scenarios that align with the five main fields targeted by Licensed Psychologists. Results: The AI-generated cases provided rich, varied content, demonstrating the potential of AI to overcome the limitations of manually created cases by humans and to offer a broader range of scenarios for students’ role-play. Conclusion: This study concludes that generative AI can be a valuable asset in psychological education, offering a way to produce diverse and realistic cases while safeguarding student welfare. Future prospects include integrating AI further into specialized subjects and leveraging advancements in AI for educational material creation. |
